Lung

 E1500: Two dose levels of CCI-779 in patients with extensive small cell lung cancer who have responding or stable disease after induction chemotherapy.

 IRESSA: Expanded access program of IRESSA in non-small cell lung cancer patients who have failed other therapies.

 ISIS 2503: ISIS 2503 in combination with Docetaxel for patients with previously treated advanced non-small cell lung cancer.

 OSI2298g: Trial of Tarceva + Carboplatin & Paclitaxel versus chemotherapy alone in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer with no prior treatment.

 SILVA: To test the impact on survival of small cell lung cancer patients who receive BEC2/BCG vaccina­tion after a partial response from first line treatment.

Prevention

ETHYOL/PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY: Ethyol to prevent peripheral neuropathy in patients treated with platinum based chemotherapy.

ETHYOL/RADIATION TOXICITIES: Ethyol to prevent radiation toxicities in patients with head, neck, or lung cancer.

SOAR: Study to develop a screening tool for functional capacity in anemic subject with non-myeloid malignancies receiving chemotherapy and NESP.

STAR: Study of Tamoxifen versus Raloxifene in post-menopausal women at high risk for developing breast cancer. This is a “National Cancer Institute” trial
