Lakeland Surgical & Diagnostic Center Receives 2009/2010 CTQ APEX QUALITY AWARD |

Lakeland Surgical & Diagnostic Center, LLP -- the surgery center often utilized by Watson Clinic surgeons for outpatient procedures -- was one of 16 outpatient centers that received national recognition as a recipient of the 2009/2010 Apex Quality Award. This was the second consecutive year for Lakeland Surgical & Diagnostic Center’s Main Campus to receive this distinctive award, and the first year for their Griffin Road Campus. The APEX Quality Award stands for Attributes for Patient Excellence. This honor is earned by elite healthcare organizations, demonstrating the highest levels of excellence in patient satisfaction throughout all healthcare markets served by CTQ, in all 50 states. Lakeland Surgical & Diagnostic Center’s CEO, David Daniel, adds “Having both facilities meet such stringent criteria in the same year is a tremendous accomplishment.”
