Michelle L. Rampersad, RN, MSN, OCN, is a hematology/oncology physician assistant working closely with the Center’s oncologists  -- Dr. Franco and Dr. Schreiber. As an integral part of their team, she assists in various aspects of patient care to ensure the highest level of quality patient relations.

Michelle received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Phoenix in Maitland, FL, before achieving her Masters of Science degree in Nursing at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from the Post Master’s Oncology Nurse Practitioner Program in August of 2007.

Michelle has over ten years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a versatile array of areas, from oncology to surgery and intensive care.  She is a certified oncology nurse, a clinical instructor for a local community college nursing program and holds memberships in the Oncology Nursing Society, the Polk County Advanced Practice Nurse Association and the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
