Dr. Sha
specializes in all areas of radiation oncology, but she has a strong interest
in women’s health, in breast cancer treatment and research.
Dr. Sha received her medical degree from Tufts University
School of Medicine in Boston. She did her internship in internal medicine at
Harvard University, and her residency at Harvard Joint Center for Radiation
Therapy.
While in medical school, she performed research in women’s
health which led to a publication in the American Journal of Perinatology.
During residency, she participated in research to increase the sophistication
of radiation planning. The work was published in Artificial Intelligence in
Medicine.
Dr. Sha is board certified in radiation oncology and is a
member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of
Clinical Oncology, the American College of Radiology and the American Society
for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology.
She is affiliated with H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center &
Research Institute in Tampa, Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Heart of Florida
Regional Medical Center in Haines City, South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant
City and Lake Wales Medical Center.
